The return of funds received from the export of agricultural products to Azerbaijan is being ensured, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Thus, based on information received from the State Customs Committee about the failure of some business entities exporting various types of products to foreign countries to return funds in the relevant currency to the country, the prosecutor’s office has initiated criminal cases and is conducting a preliminary investigation.
As a result of investigative measures carried out to date on criminal cases investigated by the prosecutor’s offices of the cities of Sumgayit and Ganja, Absheron, Guba, Khachmaz, Sabirabad, Ismayilli, Goychay, Shamkir, Gazakh, Terter districts, as well as the supervisory body of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, more than 21 million dollars (over 35.7 million manat at the exchange rate of the corresponding period) from the purchase and sale of agricultural products exported abroad have been returned to the authorized bank account in our country.
