A receptionist at one of the dental clinics in Baku has been brought to criminal responsibility, Oxu.Az reports with reference to Qafqazinfo. 24-year-old Nigar Suleymanova is accused of embezzlement on a large scale.

Her case is being heard in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes. The accused has not been arrested, but another preventive measure has been chosen for her. According to the indictment, Nigar embezzled 74,000 manats that belonged to the clinic.

At the preparatory hearing, the victim’s lawyer filed a motion to arrest the accused. The motion is justified by the fact that the damage caused to the victim has not been compensated. The founder and director of the medical institution, Ramiz Jalilov, also took part in the trial. He demanded that the former employee be arrested. The prosecutor considered the lawyer’s motion unfounded and sent the case back for further investigation.

The court rejected the victim’s motion and ordered that N. Suleimanova’s case be considered at a court hearing. The first review hearing is scheduled for January 27.
