A man suspected of drug trafficking has been detained in the Nasimi district of Baku, Report informs citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
About 13 kg of marijuana and hashish enriched with psychotropic substances were seized during a personal search of 48-year-old previously convicted Jeyhun Kukhi.
He admitted that he was involved in drug trafficking by an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established. Kukhi was supposed to deliver drugs to different addresses in exchange for monetary compensation.
The investigation into the fact is ongoing.
