Azerbaijani hostages again sentenced by separatists

March 10, 2015 the court of Karabakh separatists considered an appeal lodged by two former residents of the Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan Dilgam Askerov and Shahbaz Guliyev reports haqqin.az.

The Court dismissed the appeal and upheld the earlier decision – life imprisonment for Askerov and 22 for Guliyev.

S. Guliyev, D. Askerov and H. Hasanov on June 29, 2014 entered the territory of the Kalbajar region occupied by Armenians. As they said, their goal was to visit the graves of relatives. However, they were noticed by Armenians. Hasanov was killed in a shootout, and Guliyev and Askerov were captured.
