Interior Ministry: 85 people promoting nurchu movement detained in Azerbaijan

85 people promoting nurchu movement in Azerbaijan were detained, with reference to the Interior Ministry reported APA.

As a result of operations carried out by Yasamal district police department and Yasamal department of the Ministry of National Security, 85 people promoting nurchu movement in Mubariz Asadov’s house, were detained on September 19.

3000 religious books, dissemination of which was prohibited by law were seized from the house.

Protocol were drawn up regarding 2 persons under article 300 of the Code of Administrative Offences, and regarding 5 under article 299.0.2, then they were released.
