Azerbaijanis accused of fighting in Syria stand trial

On 6 October 2015 Baku Court of Grave Crimes held the hearing on the cases of Telman Bakirov and Mubariz Tagiyev, who are accused of fighting in Syria, reports APA.

The accused persons gave testimony at the hearing. Thus, they don’t consider themselves guilty and said that haven’t been to Syria and lived in Turkey.

The next hearing was scheduled for October 13.

These persons were detained in an operation conducted by the National Security Ministry in April 2015.
