Man guilty of murdering detained in Azerbaijan

A man, who is convicted of murdering an Azerbaijani diaspora head in Ukraine, has been detained in a series of search operations conducted by police in Azerbaijan’s Lankaran, APA reports.

Earlier, Ilham Mammadov, 42, who is convicted of murdering head of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine’s Kherson province, businessman Ilham Taghiyev, was declared internationally wanted by Ukraine’s law-enforcement agencies.  

In addition, he has been charged in robbery and other serious group committed by an organized group.
