Operational activities in Nardaran: one person arrested

As a result of operational activities carried out by the Main Dpartment for Combating Organized Crime in conjunction with the Criminal Investigation Department of Baku and the Sabunchu District Police Department Police, detained and arrested the alleged supporter of T. Bagirzade, the leader of a radical of “Islamic Unity Movement”. He was Alasgar Hasanov, a resident of Nardaran, reports haqqin.az with reference to Sabunchu District Police Department.

Concerning the arrested person has been instituted criminal case under article 228 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, investigators continue activities for seizure of firearms from the habitants of Nardaran. It is known that in the house of B. Atakishiyev (born 1985) found and seized one hunting rifle.
