Prevented illegal importing of mercury

According to information of the State Customs Committee, there was prevented an attempt to deliver of mercury in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

In compliance with data of the body, this danger for human healthy substance was discovered at Kazakhstan citizen, who arrived in Azerbaijan from Russia.

At the customs point of “Samur” of Khachmaz Customs Department was inspected the hand baggage of mentioned citizen.

In course of inspection of hand baggage was found masked under candies three flacons of mercury with weight of 216.65 g., 211.32 g. and 208.17 g. correspondingly. Total weight of found mercury was 636.14 g.
