Investigation into case of illegal trade of land plots completed

The preliminary investigation into the case of those accused of illegal trade of land plots in the area named “Dostluq” (Friendship) Park” in the Sabail district of Baku has been completed.

The accused persons’ lawyers are currently reviewing the case files, and then the case will be sent to the court for consideration, APA reports..

The process of demolishing private houses in that area started under the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Later, a criminal case was launched. 

Tarlan Huseynov was jailed for three months on suspicion of large-scale fraud.

The head of housing and communal services department no.7 Famil Guliyev and a chief architect of the Sabail district Etibar Mammadov were also arrested.
