Drug substances worth AZN13M burned

Over 400 kilograms of drugs and psychotropic substances of varying types have today been burned in Baku after courts issued 213 verdicts about their disposal, the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking told APA.

According to the state committee, 250 kg 885 grams of marijuana, 78 kg 886 grams of opium, 89 kg 211 grams of heroin and others drugs and psychotropic substances were burned on June 29, 2016.  

The disposed drugs and psychotropic substances were worth 13 million manats on the black market.
