Judicial Legal Council punishes some judges

Azerbaijan’s Judicial-Legal Council has initiated disciplinary proceedings against a judge over serious shortcomings that caused dissatisfaction of citizens, including procrastination, the Council told APA on October 17, 2016..

Besides, the Judicial-Legal Council dismissed judge of Yasamal district court Akshin Afandiyev, reprimanded judge of Sumgayit city court Ilyas Mahmudov and judge of Zagatala district court Arif Ismayilov over flagrant law violations and corruption.
