Criminal case of NIDA member B. Bayramov sent to court

The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of NIDA Civic Movement member Bayram Mammadov, who was imprisoned for four months on charges of illegal purchase, storage and selling of narcotics, has been completed.

The indictment of the criminal case has been sent to the Baku Court of Grave Crimes for consideration. Proceedings into the case will be initiated in the few days.

 Mammadov’s arrest term had recently been extended by two months.

APA notes that he is accused under the Articles 234 (Illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. With decision of the Khatai District Court he had been arrested for 4 months.
