Former Navy commander in anticipation of a verdict

On 13 January 2016, in the administrative building of the Nasimi District Court has been continued the trial over the case of the former commander of the naval forces of the Ministry of Defence, Vice Admiral Shahin Sultanov, reports haqqın.az.

At the meeting, chaired by a judge of the Baku military court Habib Hasanov mad a speech lawyer Telman Abdiyev. He asked the court to acquit his client.

Then, the defendant asked the court for time to prepare for the last word.

The next court hearing is scheduled for January 19, 2017.

At the previous meeting, the public prosecutor asked the court to punish Shahin Sultanov to imprisonment for a term of 13 years.
