Seized a big amount of drugs ecstasy

On March 17, 2017 Azerbaijan’s State Security Service prevented the distribution of a large volume of MDMA, a psychotropic substance also known as ecstasy, smuggled into the country, APA reports with reference to the State Security Service.

In an operation conducted by the State Security Service, Azerbaijani citizens Alakbar Mammadov and Shamistan Mustafayev were detained on suspicion of smuggling a large amount of MDMA pills into the country and illegally distributing them among young people, said the statement.  

A large amount of MDMA pills and effective drug “Pregabalin” were seized during the investigation.
