Prison term of accused on case of MNS extended
The prison term of Major General Elchin Guliyev, former chief of the Anti-Terrorist Center of the liquidated Ministry of National Security (MNS) of Azerbaijan, and several others has been extended for a month upon the court decision, APA reports.
A while ago, the criminal case came to a close and was submitted to the Baku Military Court.
Separate criminal cases have been opened against the arrested MNS officials. The case involving Major General Akif Chovdarov, former head of the ministry’s main energy and transport security directorate, general Subahir Gurbanov, and others continues at the Baku Military Court.
