Law enforcement bodies eliminated armed trespasser

Azerbaijan’s law-enforcement officers eliminated an armed man who attempted to violate the state border in the country’s northern district of Gusar on May 1, 2017 the district prosecutor’s office told APA.

 “A young man identified as Elvin Mammadyarov (1991) tried to trespass Azerbaijan’s state border through the woods in Gusar district around 9:30pm May 1. Law-enforcement officers eliminated the trespasser for showing armed resistance,” said the prosecutor’s office.

The district prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the incident.
