Azerbaijani police to switch to enhanced mode for Islamic Solidarity Games
Upon a relevant order of Interior Minister, Colonel General Ramil Usubov, from May 5 to 25, the Azerbaijani police will be working in enhanced mode in order to ensure security of local and foreign guests, as well as compliance with the law on the eve of and during the IV Islamic Solidarity Games, the Interior Ministry’s press service told APA.
According to the order, on the eve of and during the Islamic Solidarity Games, the number of patrol guards will be increased in public places and streets, all forces will be mobilized in order to ensure traffic safety, protection of life-support facilities, as well as diplomatic missions of foreign countries will be kept under strict control, security will be tightened in all strategically important facilities, as well as in water, air, railway transports, bus stations, ports, subway and in hotels where representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, guests and athletes will stay.
