Ali Insanov was transferred to a strict-security colony

Lawyers Ali Insanov have filed an appeal against the verdict handed down by the court against the ex-Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Ali Insanov, haqqin.az reports.

As the lawyer of the former minister, Togrul Babayev, stated, the complaint was submitted to the Supreme Court. The meeting on this complaint will be held in the near future.

The lawyer added that Ali Insanov was transferred from the detention center to the strict-security colony No. 11, noting that Ali Insanov feels well and has no complaints about the conditions of detention.

Recall that on April 7, 2017 in the Garadagh District Court ended the trial of the criminal case of former Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Ali Insanov. On the verdict of the court, Ali Insanov was imprisoned for 7 years and 5 days.
