NIDA activist arrested for 4 months

According to haqqin.az, today the Khatai District Court has examined a presentation on choosing of measure of restraint in form of arrest in respect of Bayram Mammadov, the NIDA activist, who charged in illegal trafficking of narcotics.

According to Report, in respect of him as restraint measure  was chosen an arrest for 4 months.

Members of NIDA Civil Movement Bayram Mammadov and Giyas Ibrahimov are charged under Articles 234.4.1 (Illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) and 234.4.3 (Manufacturing, purchase, storage, transfer, transportation or selling drug with a view of illegal manufacturing and processing of narcotics or psychotropic substances) of the Criminal Code.

According to official information, there was found and seized more than two kilogram heroin to them.
