Ilgar Mammadov has remained in prison
The Supreme Court did not satisfy the cassation appeal of Ilgar Mammadov, a leader of the ReAl Movement, in the complaint against the Sheki Court of Appeal.
According to haqqin.az the Supreme Court kept in force the decision of the Sheki Court of Appeal.
As it known, on 17 March 2013 the Sheki Court on Grave Crimes sentenced the 18 persons to various terms of freedom deprivation for participation and organisation disorders in Ismayilly. The leader of the ReAl movement Ilgar Mammadov was convicted to seven years in prison.
International organisations, and also the governments of USA and European Union insist on releasing of I. Mammadov. The same decision accepted also by the European Court on Human Rights.
