The police detained a “lover” of other people’s expensive foreign cars

As a result of joint activities f lover of driving other people’s cars was detained by employees of the Main Police Department of the city of Baku and the Khazar District Police Department, oxu.az reports.

So, on December 30, 2021, at 08:30, in Buzovna village, an Opel car belonging to a local resident Vasif Aliyev (born in 1980) was stolen.

The man left the car with the door open and walked away for a few minutes, believing that nothing would happen to him during this time. But when he returned, the car was no longer there.

As a result of operational-search activities, the police detained the hijacker in the territory of the village of Bina. It turned out to be Anar Safarov (born in 1988), previously convicted for a similar crime under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the investigation, it turned out that the detainee was involved in another hijacking committed a few days ago in the Narimanov district of the capital, which the portal reported earlier.

On December 21, 2021 at 20:00, an Infiniti FX-35 of Mehman Mekhraliyev (born in 1982) was stolen from Aga Neymatulla Street. The owner of the foreign car, as in the first case, left the car with the engine running and walked away, and when he returned, he discovered that it had been stolen.
