A person who planned to sell a machine gun was arrested

Employees of the 19th police station of the Nasimi District Police Department detained a resident of Baku, Aftandil Chobanov, on suspicion of illegal possession of firearms, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

During the search, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, 11 rounds of ammunition and a magazine were confiscated from him.

In his testimony, A. Chobanov said that he had purchased firearms several months ago and planned to sell them.

The materials collected on this fact were sent to the investigative department of the Nasimi district police department, an investigation is underway.
