The investigation into the criminal case of officials accused of making fictitious covid-passports has been completed

The investigation into the criminal case of officials who committed illegal actions in the process of vaccination against coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has completed, APA reports.

Thus, the investigation found that during the period of work as the head of the department at the Mehdiabad Center for Family Health, Ganita Ismayilova provided the seal of the center to employees of various medical institutions in April-September 2021, while she was supposed to keep it at home.

Grounds for suspicion were identified that these workers entered false information about the vaccination of 67 people with the Sinovac vaccine in official documents, as well as on the official electronic portal “analiz.its.gov.az”, to conceal these illegal acts, they emptied and threw away 130 vials of vaccine worth 2,700 manat.

On the basis of the evidence collected in the case, G. Ismailova was brought to justice as a suspect under article 314.2 of the Criminal Code (negligence leading to grave consequences), the criminal case was sent to the court for consideration.
