Former Foreign Ministry officials sentenced

The former head of the Department for Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Farhad Mollazade and the official of the Consular Department Salim Alizade were sentenced by the Baku Court of Grave Crimes to conditional sentences, the report.az information Internet portal reports.

At the court session presided over by Judge Afgan Hajiyev, the accused Salim Alizade delivered his last word. He asked the court to acquit him.

According to the verdict, both persons were given a suspended sentence with serving a certain probationary period.
