Arrested a person who disseminated unfounded information on a social network

In order to suppress publications aimed at undermining social and political stability, violating the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, as well as aiming to cast a shadow on the work carried out by the state to strengthen the country’s defense capability, persons who committed such actions were invited to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reports oxu.az . Measures provided by law were taken against them.

Users of social networks Yalchin Mirzali, Ilham Huseynov, Nizami Abbasly, Afgan Isaev and Rasim Azadov were warned of responsibility in the manner prescribed by Article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the Prosecutor’s Office”.

With regard to Namik Aliyev, in connection with the posting of offensive and slanderous information on the Facebook social network, proceedings have been initiated on an administrative offense case under Article 388-1.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, the case has been sent to the Binagadi District Court of Baku. According to the court decision, N. Aliyev was sentenced to administrative arrest for a period of one month.
