The criminal case on the fraud case was transferred to proceedings

The case of Mazahir Nasibov accused of fraud will be considered in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes chaired by Judge Siyavush Hajiyev, oxu.az reports.

The investigation of the facts of illegal actions of M. Nasibov was carried out in the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It was established that M. Nasibov promised 92 low-income citizens to provide apartments in a multi-storey residential building built by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population for members of the public association “Azerbaijan Society of the Visually Impaired” in Baku. Entering deliberately false information into official documents, the attacker embezzled a total of 5,781,000 manats.

M. Nasibov was charged under article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with causing large damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
