Nurse arrested for selling fake COVID-19 passports

A nurse at the Tovuz Central District Hospital was detained for issuing fake COVID-19 passports to citizens, reports the report.az Internet portal, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

Thus, on the basis of the information received, on December 14, 2021, employees of the Tovuz District Police Department carried out an operation, as a result of which a nurse from the Tovuz Central District Hospital, S. Alekperova, was detained for issuing fake COVID-19 passports to citizens in order to earn money.

The department said it was investigating the matter.
