Arrested the persons who damaged the monument to H.-Z. Tagiyev

A court decision has been made against persons accused of damaging the monument to Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiev in the Sabail district of the capital, report.az informs, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

By the decision of the Sabail District Court, the suspects Vugar Tagizade (born in 1991) and Allahverdi Mammadli (born in 1996) were sentenced to a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of two months.

On this fact, the Investigation Department of the Sabail District Police Department initiated a criminal case under Articles 221 (hooliganism) and 246 (deliberate destruction or damage to historical and cultural monuments) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
