The police arrested the thief

In Baku, gold jewelry worth AZN 20,000 was stolen from an apartment, the report.az information internet portal informs.

Thus, on November 29, 2021, a resident of the capital  contacted to the 5th police station of the Binagadi District Police Department and  reported that an unknown person had stolen jewelry worth 20,000 manats from his house near the Azadlyg metro station.

As a result of urgent operational and search activities carried out by the employees of the department, a suspect in the commission of a crime, a resident of Baku Emin Jabbarov, previously convicted for similar acts, was detained.

With him, a part of the stolen jewelry was found, which were attached to the case as material evidence. The moment E. Jabbarov entered the apartment was also recorded by surveillance cameras.

The materials collected on the detainee were sent to the investigative department of the Binagadi district police department, investigative measures are continuing.
