Former police officer charged with $1 million fraud

The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of former police officer Elvin Hashimli, who is accused of fraud on an especially large scale, has completed, oxu.az reports.

The collected materials were sent to the Baku Court for Grave Crimes. The case will be considered by Judge Azad Majidov.

E. Hashimli is accused of fraud in the amount of over $1 million.

Mokhkem Samedov was recognized as a victim in the case.
