Investigation into the case of M. Makhmudov completed

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case against businessman Magsud Mahmudov, who was detained in Ukraine and brought to Azerbaijan, has been completed, APA reports. The materials of the criminal case collected against the accused were sent to the Baku Court for Grave Crimes.

The criminal case has been transferred to Judge Faig Ganiev. 90 people were recognized as victims in the case.

Mahmudov Magsud Soltan oglu, who was put on the international wanted list since January 10, 2020 under Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code (Fraud committed with causing damage on a large scale), was detained on the territory of Ukraine in July last year.

On September 18, 2021, he was brought from Ukraine to Azerbaijan and handed over to the investigation.
