Judgment in the case of theft

The Baku Court for Grave Crimes has completed a hearing on the criminal case of F. Guliyeva, who is accused of committing theft, the oxu.az information Internet portal reports.

According to the judgement of the court, F. Guliyeva was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 7 years. A preventive measure in the form of detention right in the courtroom was also chosen.

The civil claim of the victim was partially satisfied (AZN 55,660).

According to the indictment, the incident occurred in 2018 on the territory of the Nizami district of Baku. F. Guliyeva stole 79,450 manats from her neighbor M. Abbasov. She stated that she did not plead guilty.
