Persons who stole money from the card detained

A foreigner living in Azerbaijan turned to the 27th police station of the Yasamal district police department and stated that unknown people had stolen $27,000 from his bank card, oxu.az reports citing the country’s Interior Ministry.

As a result of the operational search activities, residents of the capital Zohrab Aliyev and Orkhan Gafarov, suspected of committing this crime, were detained.

During the investigation, it turned out that they used the victim’s card to access paid virtual games, and also made various online purchases.

In their testimony, the detainees confessed to their deeds.

On this fact, the investigation department of the Yasamal District Police Department continues to investigate.
