Statement of the prosecutor’s office on corruption in the Guba region

In connection with the violations committed in the Guba regional branch of Avrora LLC, local law enforcement agencies launched a criminal investigation under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports.

During the investigation, it was established that during 2018-2019, Rahman Fataliyev, working as a sales representative of this branch and abusing his official position, appropriated the money entrusted to him in the amount of 26,900 manats, without transferring them to the treasury.

In addition, Tarlan Amrakhzade, at that time the head of the sales department of this branch, in September 2019, abusing his official position, misappropriated the funds entrusted to him in the total amount of 6,500 manats, also without transferring them to the treasury, he spent them for personal needs.

R. Fataliyev and T. Amrahzade were brought as defendants, and a measure of restraint in the form of a written undertaking not to leave was chosen against them.
