Persons suspected of drug trafficking detained

Over the past week, employees of the Yasamal District Police Department have detained 10 people suspected of drug trafficking, oxu.az reports citing the country’s Interior Affairs Ministry.

Thus, residents of the capital Emin Muradov, Javad Gasimov, Elman Bakhyshov, Vagif Makhmudov, Vusal Saidov, Eldeniz Alekberov, Togrul Aliyev, Seymur Ganbarov, Nemat Ganbarov and Javid Maharramov were detained during police operations.

During the search, heroin and methamphetamine were found in their possession. In their testimony, they admitted to trafficking in illegal substances.

An investigation has been launched into the facts.
