President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of a new Training and Service Complex in the village of Bina

On January 27, 2022, a new Educational and Service Complex, built on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was opened in the Bina settlement of the Khazar district of Baku, the Day.az Internet news portal reports.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

It should be noted that due to the lack of educational institutions in the residential areas of Atchylyg and Tamanis in the village of Bina, schoolchildren were forced to receive education in educational institutions located in nearby settlements. Residents applied to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation with a request to build a school and a kindergarten in this area. Appeals were studied, the absence of schools and preschool institutions in these arrays was established. Therefore, in 2020-2021, at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a training and service complex was built in the village of Bina.

A school and a nursery-kindergarten, a stadium and sports grounds have been created on the territory of the complex. The territory has been landscaped, various types of trees have been planted, and a recreation park has also been laid.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the conditions created at secondary school No. 292 built on the territory of the complex.

It was noted that the four-story school building for 1,400 students has classrooms, a labor office, military and computer rooms, a laboratory, libraries, a canteen and a sports hall. The school is fully equipped with furniture and equipment, visual aids. Models of installations that generate solar, wind and mechanical electricity have been built in the school yard.

On the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a nursery-kindergarten for 192 places was built in the complex.

During familiarization with the kindergarten, the head of state and the first lady were informed that rooms for groups, bedrooms, games and creative rooms, methodological rooms for teachers, sports and assembly halls, a dining room and a kitchen were created here. The kindergarten is equipped with the necessary furniture and equipment. There is a playground and sports ground in the yard.

On the territory of the educational and service complex, a medical center was built that can serve 100 patients a day, and a post office that will provide services to almost 150 citizens daily.

It should also be noted that science and education are among the main priorities of the public activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. One of the projects successfully implemented by the Foundation is the program “New School for Renewing Azerbaijan”. The main goal of the project, which has been implemented since 2005, is to help solve problems in the field of education, create an educational complex across the country that meets modern standards, and eliminate problems that directly affect the level of education.

Through the implementation of projects such as the creation of a new Educational and Service Complex in the village of Bina, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the conceptual education strategy of President Ilham Aliyev.
