Drug trafficker detained on border with Iran

A drug trafficker was detained on the border with Iran, 9 kg of drugs were seized, APA reports quoting the State Border Service.

So, on February 2, 2022, at about 01:50, on the territory of the border outpost near the city of Bilasuvar, Bilasuvar region, border guards detained a border violator.

During a search of the detained resident of Baku Askerov Umid Nadir oglu (born 1988), substances similar to narcotic drugs weighing about 8 kg 800 grams (7 kg 900 grams of marijuana, 900 grams of methamphetamine) were found and seized.

In fact, operational and investigative measures are ongoing.
