Former head of Zaminbank sentenced to 14 years in prison

Former chairman of the supervisory board of the abolished Zaminbank OJSC Nadir Ismayilov was sentenced to 14 years in prison, report.az informs.

The judgement was announced at a trial chaired by the judge of the Baku Grave Crimes Court Azer Pashayev.

N.Ismayilov was charged under Articles 179.3.2 (appropriation, committed with causing damage on a large scale), 308.2 (Abuse of power, entailing grave consequences) and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
