A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of the murder of a brother and sister

On February 6, 2022, the regional prosecutor’s office received information about the murder of Parviz Namazov, born in 1970, and his sister, Selmi Namazova, born in 1960, APA reports.

Thus, in the prosecutor’s office of the Goranboy region, it was established that Ilham Khagverdiyev (born 1965) deliberately killed them by inflicting knife wounds on them during the conflict that arose in connection with the land dispute.

In fact, the prosecutor’s office of the Goranboy region initiated a criminal case under article 120.2.7 (premeditated murder of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code.

At present, investigations are ongoing in the criminal case.
