A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of issuing fake covid-passports

The prosecutor’s office of the Imishli region conducted an investigation in connection with the illegal actions of the representative of the head of the local executive power in the village of Hajirustamli, oxu.az reports with reference to the prosecutor’s office of the region.

During the investigation, it was established that the representative of the head of the Executive Office, Yaver Shikhaliyev, entered into a criminal conspiracy with his accountant Ikram Sheykhaliyev and Farakhim Yadigarov, an unofficial dentist in the village’s first-aid post, and issued false certificates of vaccination against COVID-19 to several local residents. At the same time, the data of these persons were entered into the e-Tebib system.

On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under articles 308.1 (abuse of official powers) and 313 (forgery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the investigation is ongoing.
