Property of the former head of Zaminbank confiscated

The property of the former chairman of the supervisory board of Zaminbank OJSC, which is in the process of liquidation, Nadir Ismayilov, was confiscated, the report.az information Internet portal reports. According to the verdict of the Baku Grave Crimes Court, his property will be sent to compensate for the damage.

One of the victims in the criminal case is businessman Isfendiyar Akhundov. He demands 5 million manats from N. Ismailov. The damage caused to I. Akhundov was not compensated.

N. Ismailov was sentenced to 14 years in prison by the verdict of the Baku Grave Crimes Court.

N. Ismailov was charged under Articles 179.3.2 (misappropriation with causing damage on a large scale), 308.2 (abuse of official powers resulting in grave consequences) and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
