Gold items worth 34,000 manats were stolen from the house

On February 4, 2022, a theft was committed in one of the houses in the Mardakan settlement of the Khazar district of the capital, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, the owner of the house turned to the police and said that during his absence, unknown persons stole a safe from the apartment, where there were gold items worth $2,000, 34,000 manats and documents.

Ismail Abbasov and his acquaintance Elnur Ismailov, suspected of committing this crime, were detained. In their testimony, they confessed to the crime.

Jewelry and other items stolen by these persons were found from them and confiscated as material evidence.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact under the relevant article of the Criminal Code. By a court decision, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for the detainees.
