The police detained the thief

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by employees of the Ujar regional police department, a man was detained who had committed thefts from two private houses in the region, APA reports.

Thus, as a result of operational-search activities, the employees of the district police department detained a resident of the Ujar region, who had previously been convicted, Ilkin Mammadov, who had committed theft.

During the investigation, it was established that I. Mammadov stole household items worth 2,900 manats in one of the houses in the district, and 3 TVs, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a carpet, a hydromotor and a samovar in another house.

During the detention in the car “VAZ-2101” driven by I. Mammadov, a bayonet-knife was found and confiscated.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
