Court judgement on the former owner of the İdeal chain of stores

The Baku Court for Grave Crimes has completed the trial on the criminal case of the former owner of the İdeal chain of stores, Ilgar Ismayilov, APA reports.

At the trial, which took place on February 14, 2022, under the chairmanship of Judge Ali Mammadov, the judgement was read out.

According to the judgement, Ilgar Ismayilov was found guilty under the charges and sentenced to 6 years in prison.

The arrest imposed on the house of I. Ismayilov on Aly Aliyev Street in the Narimanov district has been lifted.

I.Ismayilov is accused of abuse of power and misappropriation of funds in the amount of about 680 thousand manats in 2011-2017. He was charged under articles 179.3.2 and 308.2 of the Criminal Code, by the decision of the Binagadi district court, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen against I. Ismayilov.
