Former head of the department of logistical support of the Ministry of Defense arrested

Informational internet portal Qafqazinfo.az, citing military sources, reports the detention of the former head of the Logistics Department of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Gurbanov Malikmamed Oruj oglu. The Serious Crime Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office brought him to criminal responsibility.

Colonel M. Gurbanov is accused of causing material damage to the state in the amount of 3.5 million manats.

Currently, the investigation recommended his arrest as a preventive measure. The court will make a decision in the coming hours.
