Judgment in the case of the wife’s murder

In the Ganja Court for Grave Crimes, the hearing on the criminal case against Anar Aliyev, accused of murdering his wife, has ended and the verdict has been read out, oxu.az reports.

According to the court’s judgement the accused was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 9 years and 9 months.

The Internet portal reports that earlier, a criminal case was opened in the prosecutor’s office of the Terter region on the fact of the murder of a local resident Arzu Aliyeva on June 18, 2021.

During the investigation, it turned out that Anar Aliyev deliberately killed his wife by stabbing her on the basis of the conflict. The incident occurred in front of the administrative building of the court, where the couple came to the next meeting as part of their divorce case.
