Murder case sent to court

The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of Gafar Amanov, accused of committing a murder in Ganja, has been completed, oxu.az reports.

The case was sent to the Ganja Court for Grave Crimes and transferred to Judge Dadash Imanov. A preparatory hearing in the case has been scheduled for November 12, 2021.

On May 26, 2021, the Ganja Prosecutor’s Office received information about the murder of Gunay Amanova. During the investigation, it was established that the crime was committed by her ex-husband G. Amanov, who stabbed his wife several times on the basis of a personal conflict. G. Amanov was detained.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
