Four suspects in drug trafficking detained

Officers of the Balakan district police department detained four suspects of involvement in the illegal circulation of drugs and psychotropic substances, reports oxu.az

Thus, in the course of operational-search activities, the previously convicted Arif Muradov and Akif Musayev, who were engaged in drug trafficking in the region, were detained. During a search, marijuana was found in their possession.

As a result of another operation, carried out by officers of the criminal investigation department and the anti-drug group, local residents were detained – previously convicted Mehman Emchiyev and Farid Muftaliyev. During a personal search, heroin was found in M. Emchiyev, and a large consignment of methamphetamine (“paty”) was found in F. Myuftaliyev.

According to these facts, criminal cases have been initiated in the Balakan District Police Department.

By a court decision, all the detainees were taken into custody.
