Detained for illegal possession of weapons

A man who kept a large amount of ammunition in his house in Beylagan was detained, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, the Main Department received information that a resident of the Shahseven village of the Beylagan region, Zamig Ahmedli, kept a large amount of ammunition at home. The man was detained. During a search in his house, 1 Kalashnikov assault rifle, 3 magazines, 1 bayonet-knife, 2 radio stations and 76 cartridges of various calibers were found and seized.

In fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Main Directorate under Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code.
